Reserved 2nd class seats which were easy to find. Comfortable seats with fan in the carriage keeping it cool. Big window to see the view. Excellent train snacks!

Unfortunately, we were forced by COVID-19 restrictions to cancel our train journey. This review is based on the service that we received in purchasing the tickets only. I have scored the vehicle comfort as 4, even though we didn’t take the journey.
The Sri Lankan Rail ticketing system makes purchasing advance tickets a bit of a lottery. We were apprehensive as our holiday centred on the train ride. We should not have worried, as the service and information provided by 12Go Asia was great. They answered our questions promptly and provided lots of useful advice. We will come to Sri Lanka next year and will certainly use 12Go Asia.

A very comfortable carriage the staff were very good and the cup of tea was a bonus.

I was the only passanger, so I was taken by car instead of bus. Comfortable car and very nice and safe driver. Took us there much faster then by bus!
