The trip itself was okay, but unfortunately, the place we told we was getting dropped off at was miles away from where we actually stopped. Which meant that we couldn't get to our hotel (which we booked for opposite where we was supposed to be dropped off according to 12Go). So we lost out on a precious few hours sleep and 460 baht for the hotel and another 250 to get us near to where we had to be the following morning.
If you book this journey, be cautious as to where you actually stop.

The site said the bus and ferry ticket was included in the price but it was not. I did not receive any emails with bus/ferry ticket so I had to purchase it when I arrive to the connecting bus.

Enjoyed the sleeping berths and slept well. However the coffee and food were terrible. If I do this again, I will bring my own snacks.

The trip was great, I travelled with another nice passenger. My only downfall during this whole trip was the reception from the 12Go team at the train station. After such a long trip across the ocean, I would have appreciated a proper welcome.

Lower bed was more than fine! Only we had a 2-hour delay, but we left on time.
