Van did NOT go to stated destination of Koh Chang pier..I was left at Trat bus station and forced to pay huge money to get to pier..please check you destinations!!! Scary situation in quiet place with just one man who stopped taxi half way and made me pay.

Driver on time, did not speak much English. Brand new comfortable car, although license plate was not the one that was communicated by operator which created a weird situation in the beginning.
Other than that, would definitely recommend as they drop you right on front of your hotel on Koh Chang

The bus ride was very good. The ferry ride was a rusted hunk of junk. It did get us to the beautiful island. Poorly advertised.

The driver was stopping multiple times to collect certain packages. This took a big amount of time. When we almost got to the pier, he also had to take detours to drop the packages which again took a lot of time.

I paid extra for priority to reserve a seat in front, as I get car sick. Was not reserved, and we booked 2 days ahead. Luckily the seats in front, was still empty when we got picked up.
Trip was nice, got two breaks.
Driver spoke limited English, but very nice. Extremely fast driving but safe arrival, we arrived 3 hours earlier to Koh Chang than expected.

The bus is comfortable, but worn down. Toilet broke down in the middle of the journey. Very confusing service in the port before departure, while handing over tickets to the ferry, they try to sell you a return ticket to Bangkok and transfer on Koh Chang. The latter is reasonable, but this time they overbooked the minivans and I ended up carrying my quite big bag to first a very old bus, then on and off the ferry and last but not least to a common local taxi in the harbour on Koh Chang. And paid the same amount as the travellers who could leave their bags in a minivan already on the mainland and got into the minivan on the ferry and fast off to the hotels. Si, the service was a scam, would have been cheaper to take a taxi in the harbour this time as there were not so many tourists. All in all I suggest to book a shared minivan from your hotel in Bangkok/airport directly to Koh Chang — almost the same price for more convenient travelling.

Not the most comfortable bus, but for the price worth every baht. Staff very friendly amd helpful. Driver was safe and early to the pier.

On time, super friendly staff, we arrive even early in koh chang. But the AC was so high, it was literally freezing in the bus and I had a winter jumper on me!

Arrived 1 hr early, and there was immediately a van for me. A.C. worked. Driver safe. Lunch stop offered duck, boar, venison curry. Connections to ferry were smooth. All good.

Driver was rude, doesn't understand English at all
Pick up 60 min before time of departure is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. You just wait on the road. So general experience was fine for Asia nad terrible for Europe.

Journey was fine about 6 hours though had 20 minutes for a break. The annoying thing was being at the pick up an hour before leaving as stated so 7am to leave at 8am.
So missing breakfast at hotel for 7.00. only to be picked up at 8am.
Journey and dropped off no problems at hotel.

Travel was OK, but improve your pick up. If you want for me be on arrival point min. 60 minute s before you can send someone at least half an hour before leaving too. We stay there more than hour on mc donald without any info it was very strange and confusing. One more thing, send someone atleast with basic english...

Gets you there. There’s a change of bus at Trat, where you get on a smaller one to the pier. Then ferry to koh chang’s northernmost pier. From there you either rent a bike 200thb/day or more, or take a taxi/minibus for 40-150thb depending on how south you want to go on the island

We travelled from Khaosan Road to Koh Chang island. Booked tickets via 12 Go Asia. Ticket office located about 6 minutes from Khaosan. We arrived 1 hour before departure and got a best tickets on second floor with front view. No limit with baggage, one bottle water included, airco and wc. There was 1 stop on the half way with possibility to buy snacks and drinks in the small shop.
Departed in time about 07.30 from Khaosan and arrived at Trat pier around 13.00. There we got tickets to the fairy. Same lady who gives tickets to fairy also offer transfer directly to hotel for 150 THB per person. If you do not like this you can catch a songtaew ( truck taxi) when you arrive to island for 50 THB p/p to White sand beach area or more if you travel further.
Ferry departed at 14.00 and arrived at about 14.40.

With 16 man in a van just as big as a vw transporter for more than 5 hours , absolute not meant for western longer than than 1,60 meters please when you go koh chang take a touring car instead of this transportation

We were not informed that the bus stopped at Road No 3 and we had to go the last 30 km by a public songthaw. It was very tight to sit and as we were the last passengers, we got the seats closest to the back part. If we had known this, we had choosen another company.

Pick up in time drop off in time! Just make sure that your location is in the right area in BKK as they don’t pickup/drop off near the airport.
